Can I get some stickers?

Where do I ship my return/exchange?

Please visit our Returns Center to receive an RMA number.

*Reader Lenses or Blu-Light Replacement lenses are custom-cut and are not eligible for return or exchange

Always make sure you have your phone number listed, so we can make sure to call you when it arrives.

When will my credit card be refunded?

You will be notified once your return has been received, approved, and processed. Refunds, and store credits will be processed within 7-10 days. A refund may not show up until your credit card's next monthly billing cycle. You will be notified via e-mail when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from Black Flys.

Returns, refunds, and store credits may be made at the discretion of Black Flys

What about Canadian or International returns?

For International returns, the customer is responsible for all duties or taxes. If you return an item or refuse an item and we are charged a tax, that duty or tax amount will be deducted from your order total before we credit your account.

When will my order be shipped?

If your order was placed Monday through Thursday by 8am PST it will be shipped that day, Later orders will be shipped the following BUSINESS day, excluding shipping holidays. (ie: we are closed Thanksgiving Thursday & Friday)

If your order was placed on Friday,Saturday or Sunday it will be shipped on Monday. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order has shipped.

If you need a later order shipped sooner feel free to call us, we will do what we can.

I paid for 2nd Day or Next Day Shipping but I did not receive it when expected.

We do our best to get all orders out quickly, but we do not work on weekends and Major Holidays.

Do you ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses?

Yes, we ship to APO / FPO addresses via USPS . UPS usually will not ship to PO Boxes.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do! Our U.S. site has shipping options for almost all Countries. 

For International orders, the customer is responsible for any additional duties or taxes.


What's the status of my order?

Once you have placed an order, you can check on its status by email or calling us.. Once an order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email that will contain your tracking information. If you do not see an email check your Spam folder or check to see that you gave us a correct email to send your confirmation to. 

Why did you call or e-mail me to verify my order?

For your own security and protection, if in the normal course of fraud control we find something suspicious regarding your order, we will call or e-mail you to verify your information.

How do I know that my order has been shipped?

When your order has been shipped, we will send you another e-mail with your tracking number and a link to where you can track it online.

My Order says Delivered but I did not receive it.

First of all Please make sure the Shipping information you gave us is correct and includes any Suite or Apartment Numbers. We do our best to send to your address as provided and you may be liable for extra shipping if a package is sent back due to incorrect information.

Due to covid delays and interruptions US Postal and UPS tracking has been a bit unreliable, sometimes packages are mis-tracked or delayed.

Black Flys is not responsible for stolen packages, if you believe your box may have been stolen, Please contact the shipper with your tracking number in order to file a claim.


Can I get replacement lenses for my sunglasses? Which styles are they available for?

Yes, we fresh cut lenses for any old pair of Black Flys you have, so long as the frame is in fair condition. Just mail, or drop them off to us, with you name and phone number. We will verify we can replace the lens and call you to get payment information..

The Main image or the thumbnail shows a color I want, but I can't order it. Why show it?

When we order sunglasses we photograph available colors and put them on the product page. From time to time we run out of a color-way, but don't go back to rephotograph the main image. Feel free to contact us to let you know when, or if, a particular color comes back in stock.

How should I clean my sunglasses?

Rinse the lens with tap water gently to remove any dirt or loose objects from the lens. Blot the lens dry with a soft cloth and gently polish to remove any smudges. Rubbing alcohol can also be used to clean the lens. Be careful not to get excess alcohol on the frame paint.

How do I read the frame measurements?

The frame measurements correspond to the width of the lens, the width of the nose, and the length of the temple. For example, the Helm frame measurements are 57-18-140. 57mm is the width of the lens from left to right, 18mm is the width of the nose, and 140mm is the length of the temple.

What kind of UV protection does Black Flys offer?

Black Flys lenses and goggle lenses offer 100% UV A, B and C protection.Optical lenses may come with sample lenses which may not offer UV protection.

How should I clean my goggles?

Special care is required for optimum performance. When the inner lens surface gets wet it becomes soft and is more susceptible to scratching. Do not rub the lens when this happens. Blot the lens with a soft cloth to remove the moisture or allow to air dry. When the lens has been thoroughly dried at room temperature, gently polish it with a soft cloth to remove any smudges. The inner and outer side of the lens should generally be cleaned with clean water only. Rinse and follow the instructions above for drying.


Why don't I see Rewards Points for my Orders?

You have to be signed up on our Rewards Program and have an account with an email. Guest users don't have an account to send points to.

I bought your product on eBay, is it authentic?

To be sure that you're not buying a counterfeit product, we suggest you shop on our website or from one of our authorized retailers. If you'd like, give us a call and send us the link so we can double-check for you.

Why can't I select the color and lens combination I want?

You can for an extra charge, but usually what is shown is how we received the sunglasses from the manufacturer.

Is my personal and credit card information safe on your website?

Yes. We've taken several steps to ensure all information received from our online visitors is secure from unauthorized access and use. All transactions are completed on a secure server. In secure mode, your computer and our server send data back and forth in an encrypted format.
